BOOKFERRY is a new travel portal specific for the ferry industry, which was developed after a long experience in the Transport and Tourism industry. It is a young and dynamic reality which combines the most recent technologies of booking online in order to satisfy the travel needs of its customers in a fast, easy and safe way. In Spring of 2002, the Artioli family launches a Shipping Company named AUTOVIE DEL MARE MARITIME WAY LTD better known as MY WAY, and starts a daily ferry liner service with 3 ferry boats each with a capacity of 1200 passengers, i.e. the M/N El Greco, the M/N King Minos and the M/N Erotokritos first from Monfalcone towards Bari – Igoumenitsa – Patras and after from Brindisi towards Igoumenitsa – Corfù – Kefalonia – Patras. In less than 6 years the Company registers from 0 to 180.000 passengers per year, offering a high standard on board service and becoming the leading Shipping Company in the line of Brindisi – Greece. The commercialization of the Company is made from Trieste in the headquarters My Way GSA S.r.l., the General Sales Agent for all of Europe of the Company. Sole Administrator of My Way GSA S.r.l. is Isabella Artioli, who graduated in Business Administration from John Cabot University Rome. She speaks 5 foreign languages and lives between Greece and Italy to be always informed on the market developments. Today My Way GSA S.r.l. with the brand name BOOKFERRY represents the Shipping Company Agoudimos Lines in centre south Italy, owned by the historical Shipowning family Agoudimos on the Adriatic with modern ferry vessels towards Greece, the M/N Ionian King, the M/N Ionian Queen and the M/N Ionian Sky and towards Albania with the M/N Kapetan Alexandros. Moreover, the Agoudimos family owns also two vessels towards the Cycladic Islands named Penelope and Penelope A and various cargo vessels. BOOKFERRY aims to become the referring travel portal for those travelling via sea. Up to date, it has already activated important collaborations with the biggest Shipping Companies in the Med Sea, Northern Europe and Northern Africa in order to offer a constantly updated service which is of easy access and use to the customers.
